For designated chronic diseases of infants and children
When a child is affected by the following
diseases, medical costs are subsidized by
the government: malignant neoplasms, chronic
renal disease, asth ma, chronic heart diseases,
asthma, chronic heart diseases, collagen
disease, endocrine diseases, inborn errors
of metabolism, diabetes mellitus, blood diseases
such ashemophilia, and neuro-muscular diseases.
For physically handicapped children
Costs of medical treatment and equipment
for physically handicapped children are Subsidized
by the government.
